Who We Are
When we started this work, it was to find those nearest to us so we could work to lighten the load. As this project and organization flourished, we found that building community is just as important as having community.
We knew our folks were out there, and we were done waiting for them to find us. We quickly got to work - networking - and found many more individuals in our surrounding areas who wanted to connect. The San Fernando Valley is home to over a million people and we’re ready to do justice work with all of you.

Our Justice Story
Empowering our community through collaboration to grow justice in the Valley.
We’re activists. We’re community organizers. We’re local volunteers and lobbyists. We’re parents and partners, single individuals, and cat enthusiasts. We are Valley inhabitants who want to live in a world where everyone has exactly what they need.
Like much of the world, we were galvanized by the murder of George and took to the streets. We understand that there is no better time than NOW to stand firmly in our values of justice, equality, and love. The Valley Justice Coalition actively centers racial and transformative justice in our work. We look to work collectively with community members and the Greater LA area through events and educational opportunities to bring about social change in meaningful ways. Our work centers on the holistic view of justice, taking into account the intersections of identities, cultures, and knowledge.
